Inventory Management as easy as ABC

You’re hopefully already aware of my web-based dashboard and data analysis tool, MI-DAS, the only tool specifically designed and developed to work with your K8 system.

Well, for more than a year now I’ve been working on a new Inventory Management system for MI-DAS, which I’m pleased to say is in development and looking pretty good (he said modestly).

The new MI-DAS Inventory Management system uses best practice inventory management method, ABC analysis, with data extracted from your K8 system to categorise your stock and show you which products you should be focussing on.

As you know, in most businesses the majority of sales comes from a minority of products. These are the products you need to focus on to ensure you’re able to deliver customer satisfaction and the sales your business needs.

For example, a quick glance will show you which of your Class A products are below their safety stock level, which need to be ordered, which have overdue purchase orders and which have surplus stock.

You can then quickly and easily generate a file to create a purchase order in K8. Saving you time and money by quickly giving you the right information at the right time.
