A man. A bike. A day. A good cause. See what happened.

Kieran Kelly with bike overhead on completing the Chilterns x 100km bike ride

As you might know, I had planned to do a 140km off road bike ride along The Ridgeway (England’s oldest highway) in aid of Prostate Cancer UK. Well, I did it on Friday 2nd September!

I set off from Ivinghoe Beacon, near Leighton Buzzard, shortly after 8am and arrived at Overton Hill, near Marlborough in Wiltshire, at about 9.30pm, 140km or 87 miles later!

I was in the saddle for just over 10 hours, with breaks accounting for the remaining time.

It was dark when I arrived and I was fairly tired, but exhilarated too, as you can probably tell by my picture! The good news is that all went well and with the support I’ve received, have raised over £1,600 for Prostate Cancer UK.

If you’ve already supported me in this cause, thank you very much. If you haven’t, and would like to, there is still time and you can help me reach my target of £2,000.

Just click the link below.

Thank you for your support, it really means a lot to me.

Back in the saddle of my day job, if you’ve any K8 system updates, training, questions or queries, I think I’m now recovered and ready to help you!!

And just a reminder about my MI-DAS web-based sales management tool, the latest version of which will soon be released with new inventory management capabilities. Let me know if this is something you think would benefit your business, and I’ll add you to the ‘First to hear about it’ update list, but no pressure!

With many thanks from me and Prostate Cancer UK.

Kieran
